Oil Changed

It took them a while, but by 1:30 in the afternoon (after dropping the car off at 9am) the oil and filter was changed on the Panda 100hp.  As we expected, no apology for the wait was offered, but luckily the bill was reasonable so we didn’t feel the need to complain to excess.  A touch over 65 euros was handed over in exchange for the work, which didn’t seem to include a labour charge.

Before the first service is due I will look at some other Fiat approved dealers in the area to get a comparison.  This main dealer really didn’t impress and I have no doubt that they will do the same come next time.  According to them, the first service is due at 20,000kms or a year of ownership, whichever comes first.  I have the feeling it will be the year, but perhaps I will be surprised!

I haven’t noticed any changes with the oil changed, but it’s certainly nice to have the car back on the road.  An early (05:30) journey to airport this morning was fun; two lanes of twisty road and few others about gave the Panda a chance to enjoy itself after two weeks of sitting in a garage!
